Sports
The vast playgrounds provide an inspiration for our students to raise the bar of their competition and prove their inner potential in various track and field games.
Sports are given utmost importance and are part of our curriculum. Whether for fun, fitness or the thrill of serious competition, our sports program offers our students the opportunity to choose from a wide range of sports like Athletics, Kho-kho, Kabaddi, Basketball, Cricket, Chess, Badminton, Skating and many more and participate at the various levels of competition from Taluks to National & International level along with CBSE clusters.
Our hard work, determination and sportsman spirit can be demonstrated by the fact that for consecutive three years 2018, 2019 and 2020 the under – 17 Kho-Kho team won the CBSE Cluster of Maharashtra & Goa and represented in National competition held by CBSE.
Our students enjoy the benefits of health education, skills to strengthen competitive spirit and teamwork through our extensive Physical Education program.
Yoga
In the yogic context, meditation or dhyana is defined more specifically as a state of pure consciousness. Yogic Meditation is the disciplining of the mind until it becomes still. Although it is not something you can learn to do in a day, the feeling of well-being and peace it creates is worth the time and commitment required.
Taekwondo
Taekwondo is a self-defense discipline. It is a form of empty hand martial arts combat that requires the athlete to use all parts of the body in competition. The training involves the principles of loyalty, faithfulness, respect and the preservation of an indomitable spirit. Students of all classes are exposed to this unique technique to keep themselves healthy and active.
Music
Music forms a part of the core curriculum. Students are encouraged to learn instrumental/ vocal music depending upon their interest. Students are encouraged to join choirs, orchestras and bands which rehearse and perform regularly in the assembly and to appreciate music. Instruments like Keyboard, Tabla, Guitar are played by students to fill the air with a musical note.
Dance
The school offers every student, an opportunity to learn classical, Indian or any other form of dance, depending on their area of interest because dance in any form and discipline is a great energizer of body and soul. Dance competitions are organized in Mini Gathering during Ganesh Festival which promotes students to choreograph their own songs under the guidance of a dance teacher.
Art And Craft
Learning art and craft enhances creativity and imagination in children. It encourages cognition and develops critical thinking skills. Students are given the opportunity to express their knowledge, ideas and feelings in ways that do not necessarily involve words. Work produced by students of all ages is displayed through Art Exhibitions and workshopsreflecting our commitment to creativity and artistic appreciation. Our Art and Craft department is always seeking new ways to inspire our students and to enhance their artistic skills through special activities.
Educational Tours
We conduct educational tours for students of all classes every year to different places. We strongly believes in “Learning outside the classroom”. An educational tour is an excellent opportunity for students to learn outside of the classroom setting. It provides a chance for them to experience different cultures, explore new places, and gain practical knowledge that they can apply in real-life situations. The main purpose of this tour is to broaden the students’ horizons and enhance their learning experience.Such educational tours and even outdoor classes within its own sprawling campus bring learning to life and touch the child’s soul inspiring and motivating the young minds to blossom.
